Creating a premium web experience for a multiuse space, mixing high-end shopping and luxury living.

Art direction and development for Territoria´s web site, a Lifestyle strategies and construction company. Territoria is responsible for the design and construction of the most luxurious buildings in Santiago, Chile like the W Hotel and Mix Use Spaces. Elegance, sobriety and richness were the main concepts for this project.

Brief description

The brief was to create a flexible web experience that would accommodate information and relevant data for interested developers, investors, as well as potential properties buyers. Besides flexible, the web needed to be sober, elegant and intelligent to display contents targeted to the different objective groups in a dynamic way.

The approach was to go in a different direction than the competition. A layered experience would dynamically reveal information and images of the beautiful properties Territoria develops. The colors, along with the composition and the elegant motion curves, create a premium and pleasant experience for the user, almost mimicking the elegance of the imponent buildings.

Luxury is a feeling, a lifestyle. So in order to create an experiene that matched the company's offering, the focus was on creating that feeling.

After thoughtful market research and discovery, the best route to go was a site that feels more like an "experience" than just an information repository. Trhough layering and sophisticated revealing animations of menus, sections and information, the user experiences a sense of delighgt and differentiation. This subtle curation of the journey creates an emotional response, appealing to the primary decision making mechanism.
